Hi! I am Song Shi.

My path to computer graphics was through architecture design. The early career on architecture helped me build an artistic perception on light and materials. The way light brings space into view never ceases to spark thoughts and reflections in me.

I am currently first-year PhD student in University of Waterloo, advised by  Prof. Toshiya Hachisuka. Before my PhD, I was a master student of MSDA at Dartmouth College, where I was fortunate enough to work in the VCL lab under the guidance of  Prof. Wojciech Jarosz.

My interests includes art, architecture, games development, and math.
